Big Sparks: STEM Light Is All Around

STEMlets step into a glowing world of colour, shadows and energy as they explore how light travels, bends and transforms. Through hands‑on investigations with prisms, LEDs and mystery materials, kids uncover the science behind rainbows, reflections and glowing objects — then create their own light‑up art to take home. It’s a radiant mix of curiosity, creativity and discovery.  

Facilitated by expert STEM teachers from Igniting Sparks Education.

Ages: 5 - 10 years

• Drop off to Bright Little Sparks, 77 Church Street, Hawthorn
• Parents welcome to “drop and go”
• Bring packed snacks (no nuts) + water bottle
• Sign up individually or come along with a friend or sibling!
• Max 12 children per session
